Dr Paul Dougan
PhD, BA (Oxon), MA (Oxon), LLB (Hons), LLM, MCIArb, MIQ, FGS, FRSA, FRGS, FHEA. Director & Chief Legal Officer
Dr Dougan is dual-qualified in Law and Earth Sciences. As a geologist he undertook doctoral research in base metal mineralisation in Southern and Northern Ireland. Subsequent to this as a lawyer in England he specialised in company, commercial and intellectual property law and was published extensively in publications such as The Times and The Barrister.
He is recognised as a 'Competent Person' for the public reporting of mineral resources by the Australian, New Zealand, South African and London Stock Exchanges. As such he is qualified to prepare reports on Exploration Results, mineral Resources & Reserves for submission to the various Stock Exchanges. He is a Member of the Institute of Quarrying
Dr Dougan has extensive knowledge and experience of legal aspects of corporate restructuring, finance and company law. This has informed his business decisions within the company's real estate acquisition and investment activities which has been its main focus since 2008.
Mr Liam Ward, Chief Executive Officer
Mr Ward has designed and project managed the construction of around 10,000 residential dwellings in Northern Ireland and 1,000 on the UK mainland. That equates to 5% of all dwellings built in Northern Ireland during the past two decades. This includes the contract administration and procurement of construction works. As an early adopter of design technology Mr Ward was the first licensed AutoCAD operator in Ireland, and continues to be at the leading edge of technological support software. Areas of significant experience include environmental planning, architecture, and engineering.
Projects completed have included over 200 residential developments ranging in scale from 5 to 200 units. Mr Ward is highly regarded in the architectural, planning and investment sector. Having been in business for a quarter century he is often called upon as a technical expert witness in courts. He has also been an advisor to government on various aspects of policy impacting construction broadly.
He has also been designer and project manager on numerous hotel and commercial projects including Canary Wharf Tower and Radisson Docklands
